This guide is for the link creator: how to use each P.LY service and what you gain after a free account.
Everything you need to manage your links and pages: clear tools to shorten, track, and share — free after a quick email sign-up.
How to use it: From the homepage or dashboard, paste the long URL and click Shorten. You can choose a 4+ character ending.
What you get: A short link is easier to copy into chat, social posts, and print than a long address.

What you get: Put the code on a sticker or card so people open your link by scanning.

What you get: An intro page with contact links, or a CV to print and share, with a public URL.
Example: edit the Yousef Al-Obaidi sample, then share the URL or print the card or resume.
How to use it: After you share, open the dashboard and read the numbers for each link.
What you get: See how often your link was used and from which countries.

How to use it: On the dashboard, on the link card, click Pause. Click Resume when you want it live again.
What you get: Traffic stops at once without losing the link or its stats. Useful when a campaign ends or you spot a mistake.

How to use it: After you create the link, on its card click Turn on preview. Click Turn off preview to disable it.
What you get: Visitors see the destination and a screenshot of the page before continuing — useful when you share with a cautious audience.

How to use it: Add a password, expiry date, or click limit in the create form.
What you get: You control who can open the link and when it stops working.

How to use it: When you create a link, give it a custom name such as Instagram or WhatsApp. If you share in two places, shorten the same page twice with a different name each time.
What you get: Your dashboard shows clicks for each name, so you know where you shared the link and which place brought more visits.
Example: one link named Instagram that you post there, and another named WhatsApp for the same store. After a week, compare clicks on the dashboard.
How to use it: When you create a link, fill the fallback URL with a backup destination.
What you get: If the link expires or you pause it, visitors reach your backup page instead of a dead end.

How to use it: Optional. In Open apps, type a YouTube URL, Instagram account, or WhatsApp number, then click Copy to URL field. That only fills the URL field above; save with Add new as usual.
What you get: On mobile we try to open the native app instead of the browser only.

How to use it: Type your custom ending (4+ characters: letters, numbers, _ or -).
What you get: A memorable link such as p.ly/shop that you and your audience can recall.

How to use it: In Link grouping, create a named group. When you add a link, pick that group if you want. Download the list from the same card.
What you get: You keep links grouped, and you can move the numbers into Excel without copying by hand.
Example: a Ramadan folder for offer links and a WhatsApp folder for chat links. After a week you download the file and share the clicks.
From your account, open the profile. The menu is not on the link panel: standalone page, 10 meta accounts per page.
When creating a new profile, a blank two-button selection page appears.
The current link-in-bio tables: photo, name, links, and contact, plus intro-card print.
International CV tables: header, summary, experience, education, skills, languages, and certifications. A public page and A4 resume print — not the intro card print.
The type is saved with the profile account. From the edit page there is a profile profile account type change.
On both types, click Share to send the page through WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, X, or LinkedIn, or to copy the URL. After you publish, the page URL is like p.ly/yousef. In the same section you can save a PDF or PNG. Publish the page first so the link opens for people you share it with.
From the same page: print on A4, Save PDF (choose Save as PDF in the print dialog), or Save image.
Calculate CV Print on A4 sheet as a ready-made pamphlet, not as an cover letter.
The new account — and the existing accounts once, and the users created by the administration — gets the example of Youssef Al-Obaidi:an identification account and a biography, an example badge. It can be deleted, and it is not recreated after deletion.
You can add a digital photo on the CV so it appears on the page. You can also show an empty print frame labeled Photo space to attach a photo after printing. The frame does not appear on the web page.
You can create up to 100 induction accounts.
